Confirm the project behind your key
Check which Google project your AI Studio key belongs to and how that project bills requests. An idle key alone does not establish a prepaid balance. Confirm the billing basis before accepting the automatic minimum; new paid usage can cost more than the proceeds at a discounted price.

Surplus probes it. tokensto.cash never keeps the key. Google Vertex is not a first-class picker row; a Vertex URL only works through Other if Surplus already supports it.

- No. The picker lists Google Gemini (AI Studio). Vertex needs a per-project URL, and Other only accepts URLs Surplus already supports.
